In the print advert, there is a lot of typography where is varies in size and colour. The point and purpose of text used in this print advert is so that the audience can see what they can get and the benefits of getting Fifa 18 Ronaldo Edition. It suggests that it’s what the audience will catch their eyes first on when they are interested in the game. Ronaldo is used because he is a well known footballer and hardly anyone hates him. Also, the colour of the typography has a huge significance which is the fact that it stands out from the background. This means that it makes it a lot easier and simple for the audience to read. To me, I feel that the target audience is the age of 3 and above. This is because on the game it has an age rating of a minimum of 3 years old. The colour used in the print advert is that there is a blended black and yellow. The colour of the background is important because depending on the background is what will make the audience look at the print advert. Also, the Ronaldo image with him wearing a white jersey. This has a big impact on colour because it makes the audience see what the print advert is actually about when they see the Ronaldo figure taking up half of the print advert. In the print advert, it has a good line. This means that the text and everything else in the print advert goes in order and nothing is over lapping and it looks neat and tidy. This also links in with the layout because the line makes the layout look good. The connotations of the image is football and it’s making young people want to buy the game; furthermore there is lights on in the background. This connotes that it could be football stadium lights and also it shows the light shining on Ronaldo. The purpose is to make the reader look and read the print advert easily and in order. Photoshop is used in this print advert is in many ways. One way is getting the image of Ronaldo onto the print advert and then the editor having to cut around the edges of the picture. By the editor doing this, it makes it look like the image hasn’t been cropped out. I can use this in my own work by using the same layout and line as they did to make my print advert be in a good order.
