Scene Recreation 1 - Power
Target Audience - I think the target audience for this scene is for 16 - 30 of both genders. This is because of the type of things they show on the tv show, I feel that this is the appropriate age difference. I think that Power is in the audience social class of middle class and below. I believe this because of the mostly people in these area tend to view this show.
Visual Style/Genre - In this scene, the visual style is that Ghost is dressed in a suite which suggests that he has a high social class whereas Tariq is wearing expensive casual clothing. This shows how upper class the family is and it also express how wealthy the family are.
Discuss The Contextual Element Of The Scene; Historic, Cultural and Social Aspects - Ghost and Tasha started as living in the ghetto area of their city but they broke the stereotype because it shows us how black americans can live in rich area of their city as it shows in the scene how they are in their house which is very posh.
Why This Is A Choice - I chose this because I feel that this is easier to do and it’s a proper situation as it demonstrates real life problems in America. I also chose this because it’s one of my favourite scenes in the whole of power.
What You Will Do/How Will You Recreate This Scene - How I would recreate the scene is that I would get 2 actors and film some close ups and some long shots. I would get close up to show their emotions and facial expressions and I will do long shots so that everyone knows what’s going on in the whole scene.

Scene Recreation 2 - Narcos

Target Audience - I think the target audience for this scene is for 16 - 30 of both genders. This is because of the type of things they show on the tv show, I feel that this is the appropriate age difference. I think that Narcos is in the audience social class of middle class and below. I believe this because of the mostly people in these area tend to view this show.
Visual Style/Genre - In this scene, they are wearing smart/expensive casual. This shows how wealthy Pablo and his workers are because of what they wear. Also the atmosphere they are in and the house that they live in shows that they are in a high social class.
Discuss The Contextual Element Of The Scene; Historic, Cultural and Social Aspects - It starts off as Pablo being lower class but he develops himself in the drug industry and it made him the 9th richest man in the world in his prime. He went from living in the slums to living in a big fancy house.
Why This Is A Choice - I chose this because I feel that this is easier to do and it’s a proper situation as it demonstrates real life problems in Colombia and Mexico. It shows how people escape from problems like this. I also chose this because it’s one of my favourite scenes in the whole of Narcos.
What You Will Do/How Will You Recreate This Scene - How I would recreate the scene is that I would get actors and I would use tracking shots to follow the actors movements when they are running away, I would use close ups to show their emotions and feelings and I will use long shots to show the whole scene.

Scene Recreation 3 - My Wife & Kids

Target Audience - I think the target audience for this scene is for all ages of both genders. This is because of the type of things they show on the tv show, I feel that this is the appropriate age difference. I think that My Wife and Kids is in the audience social class of middle class and below. I believe this because of the mostly people in these area tend to view this show.
Visual Style/Genre - In this scene, the visual style is that they are wearing clothing from the 1960s as the scene is set in a club which they are performing a 1960s song so they wore costume to match it.
Discuss The Contextual Element Of The Scene; Historic, Cultural and Social Aspects - The historic contextual element is that they are reliving a 1960s moment as they are having fun doing a historic moment.
Why This Is A Choice - I chose to do this because it seems like a easy thing to do because it shows people having fun and performing. Also, I enjoy watching the show.
What You Will Do/How Will You Recreate This Scene - How I would recreate the scene is that I would get one person as an actor to be performing on a stage and then I will get a bunch of people in the audience. I will get long shots and close ups of the performance and of the audience.
