Aerial Camera Assistant:

To become a aerial camera assistant, you need to have the qualifications of having a high interest in flying and aerodynamics for example being in high places, you don’t need to have any flying experience. Also, you would need to have experience in emergency training and first aid so that it would help yourself and others around you that are in danger.

Some of an aerial camera assistants responsibilities and their everyday problems they deal with is that changing film magazines. As this cannot be carried out in flight because the camera is outside the aircraft, it must touch down for reloading magazines. Good Aerial Camera Assistants co–ordinate reloading with refuelling so that filming is interrupted for as little time as possible. Another responsibility is to be dedicated to be working long hours and any type of hours during the day, if you can't do that then this job isn't for you. You also need to be able to deal with packing away the huge amounts of equipment that there may be whilst on set.

Some of the skills and qualities that you would need to become a aerial camera assistant is to be able to handle being under pressure and to be agile in whatever you do. This is so that if you're put under pressure, you would be able to stay calm and agile in what you do because you are going to be handling very expensive equipment; this point would also links with having a lot of stamina and physical strength because you will be carrying and moving around with expensive and heavy equipment.

Animator (Games):

To become a animator for games, you need to have the qualifications of having an animation-related degree, including games animation, also, you would to present evidence of your qualifications/work on a portfolio or showreel. They would like the showreels to last approximately 2-3 minutes and detail the specific contribution you made to the work so that it would be clear and easy for them to see what you are trying to show them. 

Some of an Animators responsibilities and their everyday problems they encounter is that animators have to show movement and behaviour in an efficient and effective way which makes best use of the game engine’s technology, within the platform’s limitation. Other things you will be doing is that game animation can be a complex combination of many different types of movements, so the Animators must make extensive libraries of reusable animations for each character. This shows that Game Animation is not an easy job to do.

Some of the skills and qualities you would need to become a games animator is to have knowledge of the requirements of the relevant health and safety legislation and procedures. This is so that it helps you work in a safer environment and it also helps you because you can also protect yourself. Another skill and quality you'll need is to be able to create memorable characters that will appeal to players. This means that you would need to have a creative mindset to make new game players and also to make them rememberable and appealing to whoever your target audience would be.

Camera Trainee:

​

To become a camera trainee, you need/do to have the qualifications is that you can take the The National Film and Television School’s foundation course: 16mm Film and Video Assistants, which will provide you with a complete overview of the role. This will help you get a better understanding of the job role you wish to get into. Another one is that you could take a degree in stills photography to gain a good, all-round understanding of composition and light. However, a drama, art or a film/media studies degree all provide a good grounding.

Some of a Camera Trainees responsibilities and their everyday problems they encounter is that it may range from making tea and coffee (basically what a runner would do) to more complex tasks such as handling lenses, filling out camera reports, and eventually (towards the final stages of their training), to loading and downloading film magazines. Another responsibility they would undergo is that on a very big budget films, they would act and work as part of the 2nd Unit Camera, assisting the 2nd AC and helping to manage the heavy workload.

Some of the skills and qualities you would need to become a camera trainee is to be able to listen very well and communicate well because you will be given a lot of instructions and also you would need to be able to respond in a polite manner using good english. Another skill and quality you will need to to be very enthusiastic about the job and whilst you are working because the job isn't aimed to be boring, its hard work but they would intend for you to also have a good experience and to have fun on the job. Also they would want you to know about the health and safety legislation and procedures to help yourself and others around you incase of an emergency.
